My first thought on watching this film was “Wow, a CCR song to open up a scene set in Vietnam. Kind of on the nose.” Then I thought “Well at least it was Green River instead of Fortunate Son or Run through the Jungle.

My next thought upon seeing a poster advertising a Robert Redford poster was “are they going to make a bunch of All the President’s Men references?” Then they ended it with a teaser for the Watergate scandal and realized this was prequel or possible a modern superhero reboot of newsroom dramas.

I mean, technically “Zodiac” “The Post” “All the President’s Men” and “Spotlight” exist in the same cinematic Universe.
