Stalwart listener Cat pointed out to me in an email that I missed “I Dreamed a Dream” and “On My Own” from Les Miserables, and “Defying Gravity” from Wicked. This last song I forgot because it was not good.

    You’ll always be my Konstantine…

That’s the song Axl Rose would have written if he wasn’t a brash, boorish oaf mostly concerned about welcoming us to the jungle. I mean this statement to disparage both the song “Konstantine” and Axl Rose.

I very much enjoy Billy Joel’s music.

Paul F. Tompkins and Aimee Man did a version of “Baby It’s Cold Outside” once. Unsurprisingly, it was of the joking variety.

On the old Muppet Show, Rudolph Nureyev and Miss Piggy did “Baby It’s Cold Outside”, though he did the “mouse” part and she did the “wolf” part. Maybe it’s less problematic if a woman is the aggressor and they leave out the part about drugging the mouse’s drink?
