A very emotional episode definitely. Phife was great talent and will truly be missed. I guess his funky diabetes took its toll and took him too young

On another note: we’ve seen a resurgence of soda pop rapping in sprites new ad campaign starring the God mc rakim Allah as a convenience store clerk

Excellent podcast. I really, really enjoyed it.

The only major thing I think you could’ve touched on was the career similarities between Tribe and Outkast up to and including the breakup.

Thanks! The Tribe/Outkast similarities are a great point. We’ll be sure to get into it when we get to Oukast further on in our historical trajectory. Probably 1996 for ATLiens or 1998 for Aquemini.
