Recently, your team of Overthinking It writers decided to celebrate Labor Day by creating a product line so irresistible to consumers that none of us would ever have to work again. Readers, I give you… Overthinking It T-Shirts.

You’ve subjected the popular culture to a level of scrutiny it probably doesn’t deserve. Now, let that culture subject you to a level of scrutiny you probably don’t deserve, when you wear any of these fine creations out in public.

And, through Labor Day only, get free shipping or some such when you spend your cash money on our crap. Details on the individual shirt pages.

And stay tuned for our next line of merch, tentatively termed Underthinking It. They’re R-rated.

Hi – I just came across your site, and I think you have some good stuff going here, and I intend to come back later on.

I would have sent this privately (so feel free to delete this comment after reading it), but I couldn’t find a contact link or email. But I wanted to say is that while Courier is a fine font an all, I think it does your site a disservice by giving it an amateurish look it does not deserve.

Courier is a fine font in many respects – I personally use it for code and what not, but as a far as readability goes I’d rather want Verdana, or maybe Arial. I tinkered with your CSS using Firebug and found that Verdana looks quite nice actually.

Bear in mind that I base this solely on personal opinion, I’m not enough of a font-nerd to know the literature – and i believe me when I say I don’t usually go around criticizing websites for font selection (except when I see comic sans, I hope you understand), it just struck me while I was reading mlawski’s wonderful piece on Strong Female Characters.

    I guess that’s all.

    Kind regards,
    gzur
