I think that the upper class and politics have always gone hand in hand because they&#039;re the ones who can afford to spend the massive amounts of money in order to campaign, in contrast to someone else who doesn&#039;t have that massive bankroll and has to rely on government funding and public contributions.

Plus in their eyes they need something to do (since they&#039;ve never had to work a day in their life) and their parents push them to do it in order to add prestige to the family name.</description>
