Well, am I wrong in not remembering seeing any Cardassians with tails and thus assuming they don't have any? So hey, both species lost the same thing in the evolutionary process at least once. So then I wonder if Cardassians still use their veriform appendixes, uvulas, ets. Any ideas?

@DK: Way to add fuel to my new Spock-loving fire. Incidentally, Memory Alpha reminded me that Sulu has nipples, too: http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/The_Naked_Time_(episode)

That second link was supposed to be http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/File:SpockChest.jpg, by the way. Memory Alpha seems to have lots of photos of semi-dressed Vulcans: http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Vulcan

the answer to that question includes the words “Garak,” “Bashir,” and “fan-fiction.”

Won't O'Brien be jealous?

Also, there was a (somewhat silly) TNG episode that said humans and Cardassians did have a common ancestor. No wonder Vulcans have nipples too.
